Is this a real skylight or is it a lighting technology?

SUNROOOF is a not a skylight. SUNROOOF is a special lighting system which creates the look, feel and experience of the Sun. It has no relation to the Sun, it runs on electricity.

Where is it manufactured?

This product is designed and engineered in Germany. Many components come from Germany and then we assemble them here in India. 80% of the manufacturing is done in India.

Does it changes colour according to the day?

No, the light is constantly changing its colors and brightness to match the day outside. It is never static. In the morning as the Sun rises outside, it also rises in the SUNROOOF. During the day it gets bright and white. And as we move towards the evening it gradually starts to become softer and warmer. Exactly like the sky outside.

Is it like an LED?

Yes it's a very advanced form of LED light that resembles sunlight at a very high level. The diffuser that we use has nanotechnology which makes it feel like the light source is very far away.

How SUNROOOF get installed?

Does it get dark patched like LED Light?

No, we use an advanced LED system, along with the drivers from Dali which has heat sync therefore protecting lights from getting damaged.

What happens in the night?

The idea for Sunrooof is to replicate whatever is happening outside, inside. Since the sky is dark in the night, so is the SUNROOOF. But the other lights which we install in the space turn on. These lights are human centric lights, which means that In the night time they will be warm and dim, ideal for the human body at the night time.

How does SUNROOOF improve my space?

By installing SUNROOOF within your space you will get the feeling of being under the open sky courtyard! even inside basements and apartments.

Does this light give Vitamin D?

At the moment, SUNROOOF does not provide Vitamin D. But we are working with international scientists and hoping to launch the Vitamin D giving SUNROOOF by 2025

Does it have any health benefits?

SUNROOOF gives all the psychological benefits of sunlight. It drastically improves your mood, increases focus & concentration and improves sleep cycles. It also substantially adds aesthetic appeal to the space, making it feel like you are under an open sky.

Do you sell only the light panels?

No, we are not a lighting company or a light supplier. We sell the whole concept - with the lighting, the wood work, the automation, everything.

How long does the installation take?

The manufacturing of SUNROOOF takes approximately 2 months. The installation typically takes 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the specific design and complexity.

What type of wood has been used?

We use treated pine wood which is termite resistant.

What type of glass are you using?

We use Lacquered Toughened Glass.

Can it be integrated with my existing automation system?

Yes if it is compatible with Casambi.

What is the power consumption?

Per Console electricity consumption is between 20 w - 50 w.

What is the minimum height required to install the product?

For installing SUNROOOF within the space the minimum height required is 9 ft.

How can it be cleaned?

it is similar to how you clean your ceiling fans or ceiling lights in your house. If there are any technical issues in the product, then we will send our team to replace the part.

What do you need from the customer’s end to install the product?

We only need a RCC ceiling from you without any false ceiling. Post installation the false ceiling of the surrounding areas will be in your scope.

How long will your team take to visit my site in case of any failure?

It will take 4-5 Working Days.

Is it the same as Stretch Ceilings?

No stretch ceiling looks just like a light. The intention of inventing SUNROOOF was to bring the feeling of sunlight indoors and give you all the benefits of sunlight. Stretch Ceilings don’t look anything like sunlight.
